Between November 13 and 17, 2006, in Warsaw, the representatives of several PSBT member companies (MAart Agency, BTInfo and Lido Lang) have participated in a conference organized by the Localization Industry Standards Association (LISA) in cooperation with the Polish Association of Translation Agencies (Polskie Stowarzyszenie Biur T³umaczeñ - PSBT). This is yet another example of successful cooperation between organizations of industry-leading translation companies from different countries. The subject of the conference included translation and localization industry challenges and opportunities in the enlarged Europe. One of the vital elements of the conference was a presentation made by Agnieszka Hein, the PSBT President, on the implementation process of the PN-EN 15038:2006 European translation standard in Poland and its consequences - opportunities and challenges for the industry.
