TILP LAUNCHES 2008 CLP COURSES
REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
Registration is now open to PSBT members at www.tilponline.org/CLP for Certified Localisation Professional (CLP) Level 1 courses offered online and onsite across nine countries worldwide this summer by The Institute of Localisation Professionals (TILP). The courses consist of a combination of ten self-learning online modules and a four-day onsite intensive training and examinations session.
Poland is one of the locations and the PSBT will host the course on 08-12 July, 2008 in Warsaw.
Registration fees are adjusted by region and include a valuable tools distribution with permanent licenses for successful participants.
The CLP Programme is supported by the PSBT, The European Union of Associations of Translation Companies (EUATC) and TechLink. Sponsors include Alchemy Software Development(a division of Translations.com), SDL TRADOS and SDL Passolo. All successful participants will receive TILP Level 1 CLP Certification. Reinhard Schäler, CEO of TILP, said “this is the first time that professional training courses as well as industry-standard tools and technologies are being made available to localisers world-wide at prices they can afford. TILP has worked hard with its members and with industry and educational professionals to bring professional training to the localisation community worldwide, and especially to people living in countries where access to professional training has so far been difficult. TILP and the localisation community is greatly indebted to all the individuals and organizations who contributed so generously to the development of CLP.”
